Applied Bio Shocktrine - Shock Treatment

Shocktrine is a 100% potassium monopersulfate non-chlorine shock oxidizer that destroys non-filterable organic contaminants such as cosmetics, perspiration, hairspray, suntan oil, urine, and leaves. It prevents the formation of combined chlorine that causes skin and eye irritation, cloudiness and odors.

Applications: Normal: Maintaining continuous pool circulation, distribute required amount of Shocktrine in the deep end of the pool. For pools with light swimming usage, apply 1 lb. Shocktrine per 10,000 gallons of pool water every two weeks. For pools with heavy swimming usage, apply 1 lb. Shocktrine per 10,000 gallons weekly.

Tips: Shock oxidize with Shocktrine whenever pool water appears excessively cloudy, has an unpleasant chlorine odor or causes eye or skin irritation. Add Shocktrine after heavy rain storms to destroy dirt, debris and other contaminants found in rainfall. Shocktrine is intended only for shock oxidizing pool water. It is not a disinfectant and does not replace the need for the regular application of a sanitizer.

Compatible With: Chlorine, bromine and ozone sanitizers. Do not use with pools sanitized with biguanide products.
