GLB Algimycin 1000

A copper/quat algaecide formulated to eliminate the toughest black algae. Uses a special triple-chelation process to hold copper ingredients in solution for longer algae control.

Applications: To Treat Existing Black Algae: 1. Brush algae spots prior to application. If pool is very dirty with heavy algae growth, first vacuum, clean and scrub walls. 2. Add 12 oz. per 10,000 gallons to a pail of water and distribute along perimeter of the pool.

Maintenance Dosage (weekly): Add 6-8 oz. per 10,000 gallons weekly.

Tips: To treat an existing condition, use Algimycin® 1000 according to the label instructions and brush algae daily. Also, check the pool's circulation as black algae usually grows in areas with poor water circulation.

Compatible With: Chlorine, bromine, mineral purification systems, salt water pools and ozone sanitizers.
